We had a splendid Christmas party for BFF’s children and families in December. Santa made a guest appearance and there were gifts galore, thanks to the YorkMix and ASDA Monks Cross Toy Appeal. The two organisations recognised that the festive season can be a difficult time for many families, and that children can sometimes miss out on receiving presents, prompting them to launch a Toy Appeal in the run-up to Christmas. The donated toys were distributed amongst several York charities, BFF included. A big BFF thank you goes to YorkMix and ASDA for the appeal and to the people of York who donated so generously.
