New Year news from BFF

Dear Friends, Family, Colleagues and Supporters,

The BFF team would like to wish you a very happy and prosperous 2018. This is a big year for BFF. Our programmes start this week in our two York pilot schools. It’s been a long and inspiring road to this point and we look forward to keeping you up to date on our progress and the progress of the children, families and schools we’re working with.

We’re an Aviva Community Fund Finalist!

A very big Thank You to everyone who persevered and voted for us on the Aviva Community site. We closed voting with an amazing 1,049 votes. BFF is now one of three national finalists in our category and funding band. Our project is currently being considered by a panel of judges for the final decision. We’ll find out if we’ve won the funding on Tuesday 16th January. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

Save the Date!

You are all invited to join us at our pilot schools for our Easter Celebration Events. The children, parents, teachers and governors of our two schools plus our BFF community will come together for a couple of hours of family fun in March. You are all invited to join us. Come and get to know the schools we work with and meet the BFF supporter community. We’ll have an Easter egg hunt, bouncy castle, craft, face painting and (hopefully) balance bikes or a climbing wall. Tea, cake and a tombola.

Where and when:  Haxby Road Primary School, York on Friday 9th March from 2-4pm and Tang Hall Primary School, York on Wednesday 21st March from 3-5pm

We look forward to seeing you there.
