We’ve had a busy few months at the Family Activity Group and lockdown has not stopped us, thanks to the efforts of our Group Leader, Louisa, and her new Assistant, Brooke. Louisa makes sure to stay in touch with families each week by phone and drops off craft supplies for the weekly Zoom session. Brooke has proved a fantastic addition to the team, working one-to-one with some of the children, and bringing her musical talents to the mix, even giving online trumpet lessons! Our Friday creative family sessions on Zoom are a weekly highlight. Louisa and Brooke dish up an exciting mix of crazy crafts, fun quizzes and singing delights, ranging from show tunes to classics by Adele and Ed Sherran!
As Louisa puts it: “I know it’s not the same as seeing each other face to face, but, interacting with everyone on Zoom, we’ve still continued to have lots of fun and it feels like one big family!”
